Unforgettable moments at the MarktlAlm

In the MarktlAlm adventure mountain village you will find cosy alpine huts and large modern holiday homes with everything you need for a holiday in the mountains. A living room with a wood-burning stove for a cosy crackling fire in the evening, a fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms with comfortable beds and a terrace where you can enjoy the view, barbecue and relax. All chalets and lodges are equipped with their own sauna and, depending on the category, an outdoor hot tub or whirlpool. 

Look forward to a holiday in the natural surroundings of our MarktlAlm with stone pine forests and alpine meadows as well as the gentle mountain landscape of the Turracher Höhe. Here at almost 1,800 metres above sea level, you can breathe in the fresh mountain air, where more than just your lungs can recover. Just right for a refreshing summer holiday or a skiing holiday on the Turracher Höhe in one of Austria's most snow-sure areas.

Sauna
All our chalets and lodges are equipped with their own sauna. 

Hotpot
Guests of the Sonnleitn Lodge, Almrausch Lodge and Almrausch Lodge Grohmann can relax after a day of skiing or hiking with a bath in the hot tub, a wooden tub for 4 people, which is located outside your lodge. There you can enjoy the view of the magnificent landscape during the day and watch the starry sky at night. The warm spring water relieves muscle tension, the crystal-clear air of the Turracher Höhe provides your lungs with sufficient oxygen and you automatically switch to holiday mode.

Whirlpool
Fancy some bubbling water fun? Then our Waldblick Lodges are the right place for you. In these large lodges for up to 12 people, you can enjoy relaxing hours in the wellness area with sauna and whirlpool on the terrace surrounded by greenery.

We have the variety: from archery, feeding sheep and goats, cleaning wheel loaders and various other activities, including yoga for the kids. You want thrills? The Turracher Höhe has plenty to offer. Go full throttle on the Nocky Flitzer, the Alpine rollercoaster through the pine forest or for bike fans from the Flow Trail to the Jump Track.

As guests of the MarktlAlm, you will receive the Turracher Höhe Butlercard on arrival, with which you can take advantage of the services of the Almbutler in summer and the Pistenbutler in winter and take part in the varied butler programme. Guided hikes, events and lots of little surprises await you on the piste and on the mountain.

On holiday with the whole family, the dog is a must! Your four-legged darling is very welcome here with us and will certainly feel at home at the MarktlAlm.

The endless hiking trails, forests and alpine pastures are a unique experience for your dog too. Small streams and biotopes or the many foreign smells to sniff out - if that's not an exciting holiday!

Not only the electricity costs, final cleaning, towels and freshly made beds are included in the chalet price. With us there is - alpine wellness included. All lodges & chalets have their own sauna, hot tub or whirlpool. With our Ayurvedic therapist Dr Shan, we start the day together with yoga or end the evening with meditation.  

As a MarktlAlm guest, you receive the Butlercard free of charge, with which you can take part in guided hikes & events at the Turracher Höhe. There are also lots of little surprises for young and old on the mountain.
