Our alm-village MarktlAlm is located in the middle of the picturesque landscape of the Turracher Hoehe between Styria (“Steiermark”) and Carinthia (“Kaernten”) at almost 1,800 m (5,900 feet) elevation. Nestled among the mountain ranges and pine forests you will find cabins, chalets, and lodges creating the perfect atmosphere for your vacation in the mountains.
The cabins for 4-6 people are not just ideal for a family vacation where the kids have enough place to play but also for grandma and grandpa or even friends who will have a great time discovering the mountains too. Here you can really relax. In the cabins you have the option to enjoy the sauna (no additional cost, available in the village), in the chalets you have your own sauna (available in the same house) and in the lodges you have the choice of a hotpot (wooden hot tub) or a whirlpool.
We have the perfect offer for large groups as well and can accommodate groups of up to 14 people in our bigger houses. Group skiing or hiking at a great price!
For two People, a Family, or with a Group?
For your convenience we have 36 cabins, chalets, lodges, and apartments. Depending on what you are looking for in a rental, you can choose between size, amenities, and budget. Every rental is equipped with a complete kitchen: including a stove, a microwave, a coffee machine, and electric kettle for your comfort. Chalets and lodges are additionally equipped with dishwashers and Nespresso machines. The living room features a cozy fireplace, a TV, and free WIFI.
Amenities
In the living area of our cabins and houses you enjoy the crackling warmth of the fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen including oven and microwave, coffee machine and electric kettle for your common hut meal you find in all of our holiday homes. Crockery, glasses and kitchen utensils are adapted to the number of guests in the cabins. All chalets and lodges are also equipped with dishwashers and Nespresso machines.
And of course you find TV and free Wifi in all of our huts.
How much Wellness would you like?
The Sonnleitn cabins have the option for a sauna in the nearby village while the chalets feature their own sauna. If you prefer to relax in soothing water, our lodges would be the ideal choice because they feature an outside hotpot (wooden hot tub) or a whirlpool. Enjoyment to the fullest!
