The Nocky Flitzer attracts to fast descents all year round. But of course the skiing pleasure on the Turracher Höhe is the main reason to come to MarktlAlm in winter. A wonderfully varied ski area awaits you with 42 kilometres of pistes for every ability, a snow park and one of the longest fun slopes in the world.
Look forward to the winter fun on Turracher Höhe! Our huts, chalets and lodges are your perfect base and offer ideal conditions for your family holiday in winter. Depending on how big your family is and what amenities you appreciate - we have the right alpine hut for you! You don't feel like always cooking yourself? You can book your stay with breakfast or half board and can also spontaneously find a good selection of food for the whole family in our MarktlHuette.
In addition to hiking opportunities suitable for children, the MarktlAlm has a lot to offer in summer: next to the petting zoo with sheep, goats and ponies there is always something going on in the playground. Further up on the hill a round of alpine golf - played in the meadow is exciting and - even without beeing a golf pro - fun for everyone. Walking up towards the top of the hill - our Marktlkoepfl - you pass a number of illustrated boards with information on animals and plants that can be found there. And when you reach the top, your mobile phone has to be ready for a selfie, because on the Marktlköpfl, the summit of our mountain pasture, there is a picture frame that is wonderfully suitable for souvenir photos.
Once you have gotten to know the MarktlAlm with all its possibilities, the Turracher Höhe Almbutler is there to show you more of the region. On guided hikes and family mountain tours you get to know the region and its history. The butler programme is of course free of charge for MarktlAlm guests. A special highlight for all kids is of course the Nocky Flitzer. With the Panoramabahn it goes up and the Nocky Flitzer gets you down again with a wonderful view of the Turracher lake and the surrounding mountains.
