Arrival

To reach the MarktlAlm, follow the Turracher Bundesstraße (B95) directly onto the high plateau. Coming from Styria, the best route is via Predlitz and Murau, while from Carinthia, you should take the route via Feldkirchen and Ebene Reichenau. Once you arrive at the top, simply turn into the chalet village, where free parking spaces are waiting for you directly at your accommodation.

Arrival and Departure

On your arrival day, your chalet will be ready for you from 4:00 PM. To ensure we can prepare it just as comfortably for the next guests, we kindly ask you to check out by 10:00 AM on your departure day.

Boundless panorama: Use the Kornock cable car and the Panorama cable car as often as you like throughout your entire stay – completely unlimited and free of charge.

For larger weekly shopping, well-stocked supermarkets are located in the valley:

  • SPAR in Ebene Reichenau (approx. 15 minutes’ drive)

  • BILLA in Patergassen (approx. 20 minutes’ drive)

For daily needs, the gourmet stop Almschatz is available directly in the village. There you’ll find regional specialties as well as an integrated 24-hour mini-market for everyday products. In addition, the Stocklauser bakery is located directly at the pass, offering fresh pastries as well as coffee and delicious cake on-site.

What’s on-site, what should you bring?
– In the kitchen

Ready for you on-site:

  • Appliances: Refrigerator with freezer compartment, stove with oven, microwave, kettle.

  • Coffee: Filter coffee machine (filter bags No. 4) and a Nespresso capsule machine.

  • Cookware & Tableware: Pans and pots in various sizes, dishes, cutlery, cutting boards, and glasses.

  • Starter Equipment: Dish towels, sponge cloth, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, and garbage bags.

Please bring yourself if needed:

  • Salt, pepper, sugar, spices, and kitchen roll.

  • Nespresso capsules (also available in our Alm Lobby).

  • More specialized kitchen helpers such as toaster, blender, egg cooker, or baking pans.

  • For cozy barbecue evenings: Charcoal, grilling utensils, and fire starters (the latter also available in the Alm Lobby).

– Bedroom, Bathroom & Sauna

In addition to the made-up beds and towels provided, you’ll also find a hairdryer on-site in all chalets.

For your sauna visit and your comfort, we kindly ask you to remember the following:

  • Bathrobes, sauna towels, sauna oil, and bath slippers for the sauna.

  • Tip: You can book a sauna package with us if needed.

  • Slippers for cozy hours in the chalet.

– Useful Items for Your Mountain Vacation
  • Chalet Evenings: Remember to bring games, card decks, or a good book for the hours by the fireplace.

  • Travel First Aid Kit: For minor mishaps in the mountains, a small first aid kit is recommended – blister plasters in particular can work wonders after an extended hike!

Daily Bread Roll Service

For your perfect breakfast, we deliver fresh bread and pastries directly to your chalet door every day. Order your selection conveniently upon arrival or daily until 4:30 PM for the next morning. You’re also welcome to send us your requests in advance by email.

Our Breakfast Basket

Would you like to start your first morning especially relaxed? We’re happy to prepare a lovingly filled breakfast basket with regional delicacies directly in your chalet for you. Just let us know by no later than 4 days before your arrival.

Good to Know: Our Opening Hours

During high season (mid-December to Easter as well as in July and August), our reception team is available for you from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. During the quieter months, the Alm Lobby opens its doors from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Later Arrival? If you’re arriving outside opening hours, please let us know in good time. We’ll prepare everything for your flexible arrival and leave your key along with information.

Where does the ski shuttle stop and where can we find the schedule?

For convenient transport, the free ski shuttle from the mountain lifts takes you easily through the resort and directly to the slopes. The shuttle stops at two central points in our resort:

  • In the upper village area: Directly in front of the Genussrabe restaurant.

  • In the lower village area: Directly at the resort entrance.

From the lower village area Waldblick, there is a ski trail that leads directly to the Zirbenwald cable car (see village map).

Good to know: The current mountain weather and detailed temperature forecasts for your stay can be found daily in the regional Turracher Höhe weather report. It’s also worth taking a look at the live webcams to see the current conditions directly on-site.
